WE Evolution announced today this is the last week to register for the eighth edition of the Vital Voices Miami Mentoring Walk on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, this time at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach.

The deadline to apply is this Tuesday February 28th, 2023, and all mentees receive complimentary access to the event. More than 100 women from 20+ different countries have already registered for this unique experience.

The attendees will be paired for a powerful sixty-minute dialogue between established women leaders from the main sponsor  FedEx and companies such as TelevisaUnivision, Oracle, Mastercard, Visa, Meta, TikTok, Endeavor, The Women’s Fund, Microsoft, and many other organizations who mentor emerging women leaders as mentees, both reflecting and sharing their professional and personal challenges and successes.

The mentor guides, advises and supports the mentee, building a new generation of leaders who could unlock some of the most pressing problems facing their communities. After their empowering mentoring session, this International Women’s Day celebration will end with a raffle of valuable prizes such as tickets for concerts at the Miami-Dade Arena, and many more.

The morning will begin with yoga and meditation, hosted by Tierra Santa Spa at Faena Hotel, followed by a light breakfast and healthy snacks. Then Maria Gabriela Hoch, Founder of WE Evolution and leader of Vital Voices Miami will give the opening remarks along with special guest entrepreneur and singer and songwriter Monica Lynn Hamling.

The agenda continues with a Leadership Panel about Web3 with Mónica Talán from Cryptoconexion, Nadine Gardner, Agile Project Manager & Chief of Staff to Miami-Dade Cryptocurrency Chairman, and Amaranta Martínez from Web3Equality. As part of WAGMI LatAm focused on onboarding more women into Web3, to commemorate the event, all guests will receive a POAP (proof of attendance protocol) and a domain from Unstoppable Domains. Then a WomanPalooza concert with singer/songwriter Liz Grimaldi will kick-off the iconic Mentoring Walk.

“Our revolution begins within and when we come together magic happens. Bring your uniqueness, let’s make magic together!” said Maria Gabriela Hoch, author of “Journey of a Vital Woman”, a new release in English that all participants will get as a gift.

Throughout my career I have realized that we are a sisterhood, we are here to support, guide, and learn from each other and also to point out when we are not doing great, because that helps us grow” added Claudia Rostagno, Director of Marketing and Communications at FedEx-Latin America and Caribbean Division.

Whether you are a successful woman with impactful professional experience to share, or an all-aged entrepreneur, young professional, or student with leadership potential ready to expand her network, Vital Voices Miami | WE Evolution wants you to join them this year.

About Vital Voices

Vital Voices Global Partnership grew out of the U.S. government’s Vital Voices Democracy Initiative, which was established in 1997 by First Lady of the United States Hillary Rodham Clinton and U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Vital Voices works in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean and the Middle East and North Africa, focusing on the business, political and civil society sectors.

The organization hosts international forums, capacity-building workshops, and training seminars for women. Originating in the U.S., the idea of mentoring walks was Geraldine Laybourne’s response to requests for advice from aspiring women leaders.

The Founder and former CEO of Oxygen Media would invite young women to meet her for a morning walk. It became a routine for Laybourne, and an invaluable opportunity for women who wanted to learn from her experience and perspective.
